Feasbility study launched for Danish Norse mythology theme park

A newly established company called Norse Theme Parks IVS is investigating the feasibility of a Norse mythology theme park to be located close to Copenhagen.

To be called “Temapark Yggdrasil”, it would have both an indoor and outdoor component and thus allow it to be open year round. Much of the indoor experience is to be based on the latest virtual reality technology. If the feasibility study is successful and funding can be secured, then the plan is for the theme park to open in 2019.
As noted in previous news post, then in Norway work is progressing on a Viking themed amusement park named “Thors Rike” (Thors Kingdom).
