Last Thursday/Friday a severe winter storm hit Denmark, causing extensive flooding. At one point, the waters of Roskilde Fjord were high on the glass facade of the Roskilde Viking Ship Museum. Re-enforcements had to support the glass from the inside to avoid a potentially catastrophic flooding of the exhibition halls containing the thousand year old ships. Despite several cracks and some seepage, then no damage occured.
